Chad B. Sterle has been practicing law since 1998, representing private clients focusing on criminal defense, family law, and general litigation in Northern Minnesota and across the state.
Chad B. Sterle was born and raised in Nashwauk, Minnesota in Itasca County, and is a graduate of Nashwauk/Keewatin High School. He earned a bachelor of arts in political science from St. John’s University in 1995 and graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. While earning his juris doctor degree, Sterle worked as a prosecutor for both Spokane and Pend Oreille counties.
Upon earning his J.D. in 1998, Sterle returned to Minnesota to work for Hennepin County’s Attorney’s Office. He was quickly offered a job in the Itasca County Attorney’s Office in 1999 and returned to work in his home county.
